Tai Chi for Arthritis

One of our popular tutors, Marsha Clarke, is running a short Tai Chi course aimed specifically at those suffering from arthritis:

Tai Chi for Arthritis is an enjoyable exercise that can relieve your pain whilst improving your health and ability to do things, as well as reducing stress levels. Tai Chi incorporates exercises that improve muscular strength, flexibility and fitness. What’s more, it is easy to learn. In fact, many people who learn Tai Chi, like it so much that they continue to practice and enjoy the benefits for years to come. Tai Chi for People with Arthritis also focuses on weight transference, which improves balance and prevents falls. This short course is an ideal opportunity to experience Tai Chi and to start your journey into the years ahead with more energy and enthusiasm to live positively with arthritis. It starts September 6th in Dean Clough 2 – 3pm (Tuesdays) and will cost £20.
