Halifax Central Initiative

• On Saturday16 March we gave out 124 parcels, 8 of which were to new clients and we had 47 volunteers.
• On Saturday 23 March we gave out 86 parcels. With weather as bad as it was I think it is amazing that they managed to give out this many parcels!!!

Well done to the volunteers who made it in ….. a truly committed team!!  The clients were happy to be in the warm and very grateful for your efforts …. I know some had walked from Mixenden to collect their parcels.

Can you help with a bit of shopping?

We are appealing for help with the shopping which we need to do each week for the Drop In. We need at least two more shoppers to buy top up items for our stockroom. We buy items such as milk, bread, pasta sauces, washing up liquids, toilet rolls, coffee etc.  …
