nbf-logo

This event is aimed at organisations who are looking to recruit trustees with a business background however, if you have other volunteer roles in mind you are welcome to promote these too. NB: Booking is essentialTrustee

Unfamiliar with speed matching? Here’s how it works:
The idea is simple: you bring around 20 new business volunteers into contact with the same number of organisations in a fun environment. They have a limited time with each organisation & move on at a signal to the next. Both organisations & volunteers keep score sheets & matching of “yes” & “maybe” scores occurs afterwards.
The essential ingredients are:

  • 20 or so well-prepared speed matching organisations
  • Same number of labelled dating tables in a spacious venue
  • An equal number of volunteer business “daters”
  • Timekeeper with a loud voice & an even louder whistle (or plastic sax)
    Lots of coffee!

Further details regarding the event will be emailed out to those who express an interest in booking. It takes place on Thursday 15th May, 530pm at Lloyds Banking Group, Halifax. We will provide a, tea, coffee, biscuits and lots of potential volunteers eager to meet you. If you would like to register an interest in this event please email steveb@nbforum.org.uk
