Lifeline’s Over 50’s Tea Parties

Halifax Central Initiative

Lifeline have secured some funding to work specifically with over 50’s to help to address loneliness and social isolation, to prevent late onset alcohol use and to increase wellbeing amongst the over 50’s in Calderdale.

As part of this, Lifeline will be hosting weekly tea parties at the Maurice Jagger Centre in Halifax town centre. They are able to provide provision of transport to those who may not otherwise be able to attend. Lifeline are asking those who wish to attend to please book us advance with a suggested donation of £1.

The tea parties will take place every Thursday 2:30-4:30pm, starting on 14th April 2016.

Carers are welcome and the parties are dementia friendly.
